Wythe Physician Practices welcomes David Muron, MD to the medical staff. Dr. Muron is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Bone & Joint Center – Wythe Physician Practices located at 1995 West Ridge Road, Wytheville.
Dr. Muron received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, VA. He completed is residency in orthopedic surgery and internship in general surgery at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals, Richmond, VA.
Dr. Muron specializes in general orthopedics, sports medicine, total ankle replacement, total and partial joint replacement, arthroscopic surgery, tendinitis, bursitis and plantar fasciitis, pediatric orthopedic care, worker’s comp injuries and more.
He holds professional certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS). He is the recipient of several honors, awards, grants and has authored or participated in publications and bulletins. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Mid-Tidewater Medical Society, American Medical Association and Medical Society of Virginia.
