Sharitz will practice at Wythe Physician Practices - First Choice Family Care located at 360 Virginia Avenue in Wytheville, Virginia. Martha W. Sharitz is a physician assistant who independently manages acute and chronic conditions, collects medical history, performs physical exam and determines and executes the appropriate level of treatment. She performs simple procedures which include but not limited to biopsies, cryotherapy, suturing, I&D, and intra-articular joint injections and aspirations. Sharitz received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies, ARC-PA accredited program from the University of Charleston, Charleston, West Virginia. She received her BA in biology, religious studies, and a minor in African american studies. She grew up in Wythe County and she is excited about working in her hometown.
