Wythe Physician Practices welcomes David Eames, DO, pediatrician to its provider staff. Dr. Eames will open a new practice, Wythe Physician Practices – Pediatrics located at 340 Virginia Avenue, Wytheville, VA. Appointments may be made by calling 276.223.0949.
Dr. Eames is a lifelong resident of Virginia, born and raised in Hampton Roads on the eastern side of the state where he met his wife. He attended Old Dominion University for his undergraduate studies, majoring in biology with a focus in pre-medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
He and his wife relocated to the western side of the state where he attended medical school at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. He went on to finish his residency training in pediatric medicine at Virginia Tech School of Medicine in Roanoke, Virginia.
Clinically, his interests are in the management of general pediatric medicine, perinatal medicine, immunization schedules, ADHD, sports injuries, and mild-moderate chronic psychological conditions.
In his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hiking, attending church, and doing anything outdoors.
